Over the past decades our planet has rapidly evolved into a global village. Technological progress has brought about a world-wide data flow. The legal world is becoming increasingly international and lawyers are often faced with proceedings that exceed their national borders.  

Legal translations:
Vertaalslag is highly specialized in legal translating. We are located in The Hague and take on assignments from both law firms and institutions. Our customers include law firms, universities, businesses and international tribunals.

Our clients:  
We provide translations to the law firms Barents & Krans and Bird & Bird, to the university of Nijmegen, and the Permanent Court of Arbitration, to name but a few.  We also often work for businesses, e.g. BAM Records and Real Estate Capital and civil law notaries, such as notary public Sebök in The Hague.

Our small scale-approach allows for personal advice and quality is a permanent feature.  At Vertaalslag we pride ourselves on accuracy and reliability. Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Our services:
Our working languages are Dutch, French and English. We specialize in legal translations. Within that broad field, we have specialized in intellectual property law (patents, trademarks, designs, copyright).
